N is for Nutria – Animal Alphabet Free Coloring Page
Nutrias, nutrias, in the river they roam,
Furry little critters, with a cozy home,
Eating plants all day long,
Happy and free, singing a song.
Did you know?
Did you know that nutrias are superb swimmers? These semi-aquatic rodents are well-adapted to life in the water, with their webbed feet and waterproof fur allowing them to effortlessly glide through marshes and wetlands. Nutrias, also known as coypus, are native to South America but have made their homes in various parts of the world. They have a diverse diet that includes aquatic plants and even small aquatic animals.
